In this privacy statement of IJswijnen.nl we would like to explain how we handle personal data. We explain how we collect the data and what we use it for, and also how data can be viewed, changed or deleted.

Personal data is carefully collected, processed and secured by IJswijnen.nl. In doing so, we comply with privacy legislation. This means that we, for example:
1) Strictly limit the collection of personal data to only those personal data that are necessary for the purposes for which they are to be processed.
2) Your data will not be passed on to third parties, unless this is necessary to provide the requested service or when we are legally obliged to do so.
For example, passing on the name and address details is necessary to create a shipping label at PostNL, for example. When we share your details with PostNL (or another necessary outsourcing partner), we have made agreements to ensure, among other things, that your personal details are not used for other purposes.
3) IJswijnen.nl takes appropriate security measures to protect your personal data as much as possible and also demands this from outsourcing partners who process your personal data on our behalf.

What do we use your personal data for?
When using our webshop, you leave certain data with us. This includes your name and address/personal data. We process the following data.
- Name (first and last name), address and place of residence (e.g. for the shipment of your package)
- E-mail address (e.g. for sending a confirmation of your order)
- Phone number (e.g. to contact you if we have additional questions)
- Date of birth (e.g. to check if you are 18 years or older)
- Login details (e.g. to ensure that you can find your order in our webshop)
- questions you ask us and/or reports you give us

For what purposes do we need your personal data?
We process your personal data for one or more of the following purposes:
1) To offer you the opportunity to order articles and alcoholic beverages (including wine) via our website and to use all functionalities and services.
2) To process your order.
3) To inform you about the progress of the ordering process.
4) To be able to send you our periodic newsletter if you wish
5) To process your application and to contact you about it.
6) To process your question or (response to a) complaint.
7) To communicate with you.
For what purposes do we back up your (personal) data?
IJswijnen.nl uses the webshop platform of Shopify. Shopify makes backups of our webshop including your (personal) data. We do this so that we can restore everything in the event of a security incident. Shopify is obliged to properly secure and restore your personal data.

To which outsourcing partners do we provide your personal data?
We pass on the data you provide to outsourcing partners (third party), if this is necessary for the delivery of the products you ordered or the services you requested. For example, we use a third party to process payments in our webshop and we pass on your data to the parcel delivery company to be able to deliver your order to you.
When we provide your data to a third party, we ensure, among other things, that your (personal) data is not used for other purposes. We also agree that your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed.
Furthermore, we will not provide the information you provide to other parties, unless this is required by law.

Cookies
We also use cookies when collecting your data.

Secure and store
IJswijnen.nl takes appropriate security measures to limit abuse of and unauthorized access to your personal data. In this way, we ensure that only the necessary persons have access to your (personal) data. Access to the data is protected.
We do not store the data for longer than necessary.

Minors
If you are under 18 years of age, you may not use our webshop.

Changes to this privacy statement
We may change this privacy statement from time to time. It is advisable to consult this privacy statement regularly.
When you submit a request to us for access, correction, modification and/or deletion, we will ensure that your request is processed within 4 weeks. If we are unable to process it within this period, we will inform you of this.

Dutch Data Protection Authority
Of course, we will be happy to help you if you have complaints about the processing of your personal data. If, despite this, you are unable to resolve the matter with us, you also have the right, under privacy legislation, to file a complaint with the privacy supervisor, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. You can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority for this purpose.
